Release - HOTMOTEL - "Brutal Reign" Single (2020)





Based in Herne Hill and Brixton, HOTMOTEL will unveiled their lead single on 22nd February at Off the Cuff to showcase their hotly anticipated EP out in March. This comes off the back of successful performances at various London venues over the past year.

A run of dates now follows to the end of the year to include various support acts from South London bands Headed up by guitarist, writer and producer Donald Ross Skinner (Salad, Steve Hewitt, Jamie Hince, Julian Cope) together with frontman and writer Rupert Ingham, this release represent a showcase of much more to come.

Unapologetic and liberating, Brutal Reign tells of world events with unrelenting honesty whilst the forthcoming Not Now Mamma and Gatsby provide further commentary on life, warts and all. Videos further showcase the band’s humour and sardonic take on life. Ingham’s tireless drive and energy is not only evident on stage but also off, as he has been collaborating with Herne Hill artist James Schein capturing the spirit of the band in weekly drawings and on display throughout their band sites. An exhibition of Schein’s work is planned for May.
